Forgiveness - A Study in Philemon
FORGIVENESS A STUDY IN PHILEMON by PASTOR T. R. KELLEY
READ: PROVERBS 19:11
IMPORTANT: Whether the offense is big or small, forgiveness is a process that only God can accomplish in us.
Forgiveness is beyond us it is the work of God in us.
Overlooking a transgression is to look beyond the transgression.
As we forgive, we bring glory to God, for we are never more like God than when we forgive.

Philemon - Warren Wiersbe - Two statements in Paul’s letter to Philemon remind us of what Jesus did for us. “Receive him [Onesimus] as you would me” (Philemon 1:17) reminds us that we are “accepted in the Beloved” (Eph. 1:6). “Put that on my account” (Philemon 1:18) reminds us that Jesus paid the price for our redemption (Ro 4:1-8; 2Co 5:21).
