IRAS TU AL CIELO?-Are You Going to Heaven

ARE YOU GOING TO HEAVEN?
IRAS TU AL CIELO?

Explanation: This simple, but Biblically sound tract in Spanish by William MacDonald, is no longer available in print but I felt its clear message was so important that photos of the tract would still convey the important soul saving message to searching hearts around the world. Good News Publishing still has this tract available in English (in limited quantities) and I would recommend buying a packet of 25 and approaching people asking the simple question "Are You Going to Heaven?" I do this frequently and it is fascinating to dialogue with people on the most important question they will ever answer in time or eternity! The replies I get are usually "I hope so," or "I'm not sure." Beloved, those responses ought to break your heart! These are men and women who will live forever in either Heaven or Hell and yet more than 90% of the people I ask about their future eternal home give me one of these two responses. Most of the people I ask don't have a clue how to get to Heaven. I often hear "I try to be a good person" or "I do good works." But neither of these answers will be accepted by God on Judgment Day. Belief in Jesus Christ is the only way to be assured entree into the presence of God the Father. Jesus made it crystal clear when He declared "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." (John 14:6+) In Greek the phrase "no one" is more accurately "absolutely no one." There is no other way to Heaven than through Jesus Christ. Paul expanded on this writing "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9+) Faith alone in Christ alone. One important caveat however is that while faith alone saves, the faith that truly saves is not alone. In other words, one's faith is shown to be genuine by a transformed life (2Co 5:17+). Paul makes this clear in Ephesians 2:10+ explaining the purpose of our salvation. He writes "For (explaining Ephesians 2:8-9) we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." In other words, while "good works" can never save a person, "good works" are the evidence that a person is truly saved. See discussion of James 2:14-26.
